A. What is GoPoint Popup Productivity Cluster™ (GPC)? (go top)
- A pointer-centric (it pops up at the pointer) floating toolbar making everyday activities "menuless" and "without lengthy pointer traversing actions to the far reaches of the display screen".
- A floating navigation toolbar for laptops virtually eliminating the need for a mouse!
- A launching place for desktop programs and files, eliminating the need to view the desktop and hunt for files.
- A floating formatting tool that aids text editing and word processing by popping up important actions like Undo, Redo, Print, Bold, Center, Underline and more. Even WITH the mouse, tons of time and frustration are eliminated.
- And...coming in Q3, 2009 and free to those already subscribing or owning GoPoint™ Popup Productivity Cluster:

- GoCompose™ - Just click your GoPoint™ Popup Productivity Tool and up pops the pathway to up to ten (10) text editors to create, save and assemble your ideas on the fly, your pre-Blogging thoughts (it formats in html too), your grocery list, your notes, your pre-MS Word novel or...any idea you have that you wish you could simply and easily save...now!
- GoLogin™ - You'll be an inch away from retrieving up to thirty (30) of your various user names and passwords to login to your online financial accounts, banks, credit cards, stores and more. One click and user name and password are pasted into the boxes and launched.
A. How do I setup GoPoint Popup Productivity Cluster™ (GPC)? (go top)
- Simply install it right from the box (well...not the box...how about...the "download"?)
- With its three (3) current apps - GoNavigate™, GoFormat™ and GoLaunch™ - only GoLaunch™ requires setup - you'll need to drag-and-drop up to 81 shortcuts or files for easy launching...forever!
A. How do I launch GPC? (go top)
- If you haven't chosen to have it automatically "load" upon computer startup, double-click the GPC shortcut icon on your desktop; else...
- Right-Click-Hold. The cluster appears, at the pointer; (that's the whole point!)
- Now this is going to be "different" for you for a bit but...
- I can assure you that it will become second nature to you and...
- You'll soon see why it's "...really the only combination of mouse buttons that makes sense."
- Continue to Right-Click-Hold.
- Hover over one of the available icons.
- Release. That's all there is to it!
A. Where can I find ideas about GoPoint Popup Productivity Cluster™ shortcuts and other shortcuts?
- Talk it up on my blog - "Go Pointers".
- Or...just sit back and take it all in, at, of course, "Go Pointers".
A. How do I use GoNavigate™? (go top)

- GoNavigate™ is the first thing that pops up.
- Think of GPC as a bunch of action icons, some of which are other applications - GoLaunch™, GoFormat™ and soon, GoCompose™ and GoLogin™.
- The icons that are not applications, are navigation icons, plain and simple.
- Navigation Icons explained: (remember, it's Right-Click-Hold-Hover-Release)
- Back -
You'll use it a lot!
- Forward -
Goes forward one page.
- Close -
Closes the current window and even small popup windows!
- Add New Tab -
Great for opening a new URL within the same window. Keeps things all in one place for easy viewing and reviewing.
- Delete Current Tab -
Quickly deletes the current open tab (URL) WITHOUT deleting the whole window. Great for keeping things together and organized while surfing.
- Add a "Classic" Favorite -
If you're NOT using Search-n-Mark™ Popup Search & Bookmark Tool™ then, this makes the rudimentary bookmarking features of IE, Firefox and Chrome "just a little easier".
- Down -
Simply wonderful for getting to the bottom of things, especially the current web page where there's always lots of goodies.
- Up -
What goes down must come up...to the top of the page where the "action really is!"
- Close Window -
"Go away! I don't want you, don't need you anymore!"
- Minimize -
"Get out of the way, big old window! But, don't stay away long, I need you!"
- Maximize -
Makes the restored or resized window "fill up the screen."
- Stop Loading -
"Things are just taking too long to download. Stop!" Beats closing the window and starting over, doesn't it?
- Refresh -
"Let's see if anything's changed back at the ranch (server)"
- Print -
You'll be amazed how helpful this little icon can be! Click it anytime, anywhere and...you'll be able to print what's in front of you. You can even review it first!
- Undo-Redo -
Such a great timesaver we put it here and in GoFormat™! Works in most desktop applications; e.g. - Word, Excel, PowerPoint, accounting packages, OpenOffice.org. It's one of the reasons why we call it a "Productivity Cluster". A great tool for the "Oops!" in all of us.
A. Are there times when some navigation actions don't work? (go top)
- Seldom, if ever.
- However, sometimes it may look that way in pages, for instance, where there are videos and audios.
- In that case, a simple left click in a white space away from the video or audio window, before you conduct a navigation task, will put the "focus" of the pointer in its proper state for navigation.
A. How do I use GoFormat™? (go top)
- Right-Click-Hold-Hover over the "T" icon -
.
- Notice how it changes the cluster to a group of text editing icons.

- Continue to Right-Click-Hold-Hover over the format icon of your choice.
- Release. The action will occur.
- Right-Click-Hold-Hover again and notice how the Format Cluster continues to appear. The product (programmer, designer) assumes you want to continue formatting. Go right ahead!
- Otherwise, mouseover the looking glass icon and then move off of it...and Release...and the Navigation cluster will reappear. Cool huh?
A. How do I use GoLaunch™? (go top)
- Right-Click-Hold-Hover over the Launch icon -
.
- Release.
- Upon release, you will now use the application as you would any, by selecting with your left-mouse-button.
- The center grid - 1 of 9 - "Launch Grids", will appear. It looks like this (except for the icons in columns 2 and 3)

- This is one of nine "perimeter" grids just like it which essentially "circle the grid". To see one or all simply mouse over any one of the dark gray squares.
- Notice the remaining 2 through 8 perimeter grids look pretty much the same as the central grid.
- You can close any one of the "perimeter grids" by mousing over the single gray squares at the perimeter of the main grid or closing it the "classic way" by left-clicking on the red X.
- Close the main grid with a classic left-click on the red X or by clicking the "Close" button (shown above).
A. How do I populate the GoLaunch™ Launch Grids? (go top)
- You need to make "shortcuts" of any program or file (wp, pic, movie, etc.) so that you can drag them to the grids.
- The way you make shortcuts is simple:
- Go to the folder where the program or file resides (program files can be found in c:\Program Files\. To get there, do this:
- Launch GoLaunch™.
- From the GoLaunch™ main grid, launch the "My Computer" icon.
- Click on the "Local Disk C:"
- Click on the "Program Files" folder.
- Locate the name of your program folder and open it.
- Locate the program. It should have a .exe extension.
- Right click on it and choose "Create Shortcut".
- The shortcut will be created at the end of the list of files.
- Either drag-and-drop the shortcut file to the desktop or cut and paste it.
- Do this procedure for all files you need shortcuts for. Not to worry, you'll do this entire procedure only once.
- Make sure your desktop is showing.
- Launch GoLaunch™.
- Open the grid where you want to "drop" the shortcut.
- From the desktop, drag the shortcut to the cell on the grid. Be careful, you cannot drag shortcuts from the grid (coming in version 1.1 Q3, 2009). You CAN, however, "overwrite" a cell shortcut with another drag-and-dropped shortcut.
- After all that hard work, you will be rewarded by the simplicty and ease of use of GoLaunch™.
A. How do I delete a GoLaunch™ Shortcut? (go top)
- Overwrite it with another shortcut or...
- Create a blank shortcut from a graphic of your choice and make that your blank shortcut icon.
- Again, we will make that process easier in version 1.1 Q3, 2009.
